Good morning folks, how are we all doing?

I’ve had a somewhat decent star to the writing month, I’m not quite at a 1000 words but I’m quite happy with how it’s started.

My mental health has been in the gutter a bit recently, but I’m working on the ways that I find help me out of it. Part of that was popping down to Broadstairs yesterday after work. It was just want I needed, and the fact that I’m at my desk right now proves that. For the sake of about £5 and a little fuel, it’s a damn good deal.

Once this post is written I’ll be getting some words done on Penal Earth 2 before heading off to work. I think I’m finding the right lane with this now, but it’s still only 10k in and could change. I’m going to try and keep it in that lane but we’ll see.

While I was in Costa in Broadstairs yesterday I did revisiting what was going to be a random flash story but I think I might be able to build it into at least a short story. What I wrote on it yesterday means I could open it up more.

Right, I’m going to get cracking, I’d love a 1000 word day and that ain’t gonna happen until I pull me finger out!
