Just a flash post tonight, 509 words on Penal Earth 2 today. A few before work, a few this evening. I wrote 256 last night and boy was that like pulling teeth. Tonight the words flowed a little easier, I get into some character development which took in some world building as well.

I know what story I’m telling but getting it going is something I’m struggling with. My mental health is a little shite at the moment (I’m okay, just struggling to stay focused), but I’m quite happy I’m writing each day. Even on days when it’s really hard work, I’m still putting something into the story I can build from later on. In some ways it’s like a sample or outline segment.

Right, so much for a flash post. I’m off to bed, I’m off this weekend and would really like to have a productive couple of days.
